Simon trained in London at Saatchi & Saatchi, was Head of Copy at Lowe, and CD, Barclays, at Leo Burnett. He has won over 20 advertising awards, and been a D&AD judge 3 times, He has wide experience in all media, from TV advertising to brand development, to digital. He has been a Creative Director, Head of Copy, strategic writer, scriptwriter and copywriter.

Recent projects include scriptwriting for BBC News and Rolls Royce for Ridley Scott Associates, website and corporate writing for Philip Morris International, new mission statements for the IPA and Sum Up, and websites for wealth manager eightfourtwo and recruiter Norma Skemp.

In other fields,‘The Morphant’, his 5-star reviewed children’s novel, was published under the pen name of Cornelius Fuel in Matador paperback September 2017. As a proofreader, Simon has worked for Penguin/Michael Joseph on books by Dickens, Trollope and Bram Stoker in the Penguin English Library series, Jeremy Clarkson, Jamie Oliver, and others.

Simon is also a co-founder of ELFy, the app-based medication alerts system, for which he invented the name and directed the brand identity, navigation and content.
